The Technology Enhanced Learning (TELearn) was held in the past several years with the purpose to gather International researchers who study technology enhanced learning and provide them a forum for publishing research findings and exchanging experiences in conducting related projects.
First TELearn conference took place in Taiwan in 2007. Next year in 2008, TELearn conference was held in Vietnam. In the following year, 2009, the conference was held in Taiwan again. The majority of participants attending the series of TELearn conferences came from Asian-Pacific regions; therefore, the Organizing Committee of TELearn decided to change the title of the conference from Technology Enhanced Learning conference to Asia-Pacific Conference on Technology Enhanced Learning (APTEL) in 2010. As well as TELearn, APTEL provides a forum for researchers who study technology enhanced learning to publish research findings and exchange experiences in conducting related projects. APTEL 2010 was held in Kansai University in Japan.

APTEL 2011 will be held in Xi’an, China, August 12-14, 2011.The main theme of APTEL 2011 is Technology Enhanced Language Learning. Best papers will be invited for submission to the following journals. Knowledge Management & E-Learning: An International Journal (KM&EL), International Journal of Digital Learning Technology, Educational Technology & Society.
